South Florida's own Shelly Tygielski (second from right) of Kent Services was a panelist at last week's Bisnow national Data Center Investment Conference & Expo (DICE) in DC, where she said that some data center owners may be moving toward using more remote features, such as set temperature controls and smart security cameras. Though data centers will always need highly skilled workers to operate properly, computer features can help mitigate the small amount of human error that does exist. Shelly was joined onstage by Pepco's Scott Reamy, ESD's James Sauvegeau, Mission Critical at Mortenson's Chris Hardinger, AKF Group's Hannibal Fleming, DPR Construction's Brian Brezovsky, and RagingWire's Chris Thames.
