Boston Properties has filed preliminary plans for a 1.1M SF office complex that will cover a full block on Fourth and Harrison streets in SoMa. The project will include a 90k SF floor plate that will span the entire site.
Plans call for a unique 240-foot-tall, carved-up tower that could become a technology hub in the future, a 130-foot-tall mid-rise and a 65-foot podium building. The total project will include 907k SF of office space, 53,600 SF of flexible space, nearly 10k SF of retail and 15,600 SF of public open space.
Boston Properties is in the process of building the Salesforce tower (here), which will be the tallest tower in San Francisco. Architect HOK has been tasked with design for the new project. [SFBT]
