A program called UberEntrepreneurs is launching to connect Uber drivers starting their own small businesses with the local resources they need. Uber partnered with WeWork, offering discounts for its co-working space, and Portland State University’s Business Outreach Program, which will offer workshops and advising services, reports the Portland Business Journal.
Uber’s public affairs manager explained “a growing number of current and aspiring small-business owners are choosing to drive with Uber to earn extra income while they build their business.” [PBJ]
