California-based Douglas Wilson Cos and Colorado-based Hensel Phelps Development inked a hotel operating agreement with Kimpton Hotel & Restaurants to manage the new boutique hotel at One Hundred Mill in Tempe at Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway. DWC CEO Doug Wilson notes that the burgeoning Tempe market is a complement to the Kimpton brand. Once completed in late 2017, the Tempe Kimpton will feature 237 rooms, 12k SF of indoor meeting space, and a 4,750 SF rooftop pool and terrace lounge.
