NFTE's Big Gala

The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship’s DC regional chapter held its big annual gala last week at the National Building Museum. It marked the nonprofit’s 20th anniversary helping kids start and grow their own businesses. Under Armour chief Kevin Plank was the keynote and long-time supporter and board member Diana Davis Spencer was honored. The Bisnow table included NextGen Angels managing director Brett Gibson, SpeakerBox’s Lisa Throckmorton, Bisnow’s Doug Anderson (making a rare double appearance in today's issue), Bean Creative’s Layla Masri, Wingate Hughes’ Gavin Daniels, Episcopal High School’s Matt Fitzgerald, and Bisnow’s Bram Levy.
