Here, IREM 2013 prez Beth Machen and CCIM 2015 prez Mark Macek give him this years Legislator of the Year honor because he's: advocatedfor raising the business lending cap for well-capitalized credit unions (which could create significant economic growth and development); supported the Sales Tax Fairness Act (leveling the playing field for both online and brick-and-mortar retailers); and championed the Section 8 Reform Act (which streamlines regulations for property owners).
