London

The original Cadogan estate covered what’s now a fashionable part of central London and includes parts of Chelsea and Knightsbridge. It's London’s second-largest estate, after land belonging to the Duke of Westminster.

The family’s real estate holdings are worth upward of $6B. A redevelopment along Sloane Street, now a fashionable shopping district, is among the most noteworthy legacies of the Cadogan family, which has controlled the land since the early 1700s. Charles’ son, Edward, now runs day-to-day operations to manage the family fortune. — Scott Klocksin
