Daniel Killinger to Lead Team Overseeing $1B in Development

Daniel (snapped at the groundbreaking of East Market, a $500M project in Philly) has been named managing director of National Real Estate Development, where he will oversee a portfolio of 2M SF of mixed-use and residential space in LA, S.F. and Philly. The subsidiary of National Real Estate Advisors is responsible for supporting “Build-to-Core” strategies for institutional players. On the Best Coast, Daniel will oversee three significant projects: The BLOC in DTLA, where National is an investor in the retail and office redevelopment phases; 100 Van Ness in S.F. (below), a 485K SF, 418-unit apartment project near City Hall; and Van Ness Hayes in S.F., a 429-unit apartment project next door.

Before joining National in 2013, Daniel was an EVP at Edison Properties in New York and a managing director at Goldman Properties. Killinger succeeds Ryan Whitaker, who left after more than a dozen years to lead his family’s real estate investment and development company.
