Pink's owners Richard and Gloria Pink do indeed dine elsewhere; look at those Millennial type salads we snapped them ingesting at the Bel-Air Hotel Saturday afternoon. And they do talk about other things besides their 11th and 12th locations (Miami and Hawaii). Richard (managing director of Clarion Partners), is still going strong, closing with fellow director Bryan Crane and team, just days ago, on the purchase from Oaktree of a 153k SF office building on Von Karman in Irvine.
But, back to Pink's, here's Gloria, who Richard lovingly calls the Doyenne of Dogs, sitting last week with 93-year-old Betty White and retiring LA Councilman Tom LaBonge promoting an upcoming fundraiser for the LA Zoo for which Pink's will be donating and serving over 1,000 dogs.
They've even created a themed animal display (for example, there's a koala bear climbing a hot dog tree and a friendly hippo). Do we sense a new side business, selling mustard as the new art medium?
