Residential Complex Could Be Built In City West

An eight-story, mixed-use development may be coming to the City West neighborhood near DTLA.

Plans were filed last week with the City of Los Angeles to build the project on a one-acre site bordered by Hartford Avenue, Fifth Street and Witmer Street.

The 174k SF building would have 182 apartments and an additional 36 units of affordable housing, reports Urbanize LA.

In exchange for providing the housing for low-income families, the developer has requested some density bonus incentives. The proposal is contingent on the incentives. [ULA]
