Plans to bring The James Hotel to the Sunset Strip have been nixed.

The hotel was originally scheduled to open May 1, but those plans have changed, according to the hotel's website.

"While all of us at The James continue to maintain our commitment to community, personal wellness, art and design, we will not be introducing The James Hotels to Los Angeles at this time.
