Another TOD Planned Along NoHo’s Busway

Chandler Village LLC plans to replace a shuttered car wash at 12444 W Chandler Blvd in Valley Village with a five-story residential mixed-use project with 70 units and 1,750 SF of street-level commercial space. The .65-acre project includes two levels of parking with 80 car stalls.

Metro’s Orange Line busway runs along Chandler, where a number of other transit-oriented projects are rising. Local developer Micropolitan Co is underway on a seven-story, 82-unit residential project at the corner of Chandler and Tujunga, which is adjacent to both the busway and Metro’s Red Line.

Additionally, Charleston, SC-based Greystar Real Estate Partners plans to build a 329-unit residential mixed-use complex on an acre at 11120 W Chandler. This project, originally proposed by Redondo Beach’s Urbanest Group, consists of two five-story structures with 4,500 SF of street-level commercial space. [ULA]
