$65M Reno Underway At Mariners Bay

San Francisco's Legacy Partners has finished the first phase of its $65M reno of Marina del Rey's Mariners Bay apartments.

The complex is being rebranded as Wayfarer Apartments + Marina.

Mike Rovner Construction and Area Architecture are partnering in the reno project, Urbanize LA reports.

New appliances and other improvements were made to 57 apartments as part of the first phase. The complex's fitness center, swimming pool, boat slips and tennis courts were all renovated.

Rents for the studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments will range from $2,500 per month to $5,500.

The project is expected to be completed after two and a half years.

A joint Courtyard Marriott and Residence Inn hotel is planned for a nearby property. [ULA]
