It has become clearer exactly what the $500M Circa being built in DTLA will look like.

The developer has put up a new website and released new renderings of the mixed-use project. The twin, 35-story towers going up at 1200 South Figueroa St. across from Staples Center are being developed by Hankey Investment Co, Jamison Services, Falcon California Investments and Highlands Capital.

Harley Ellis Devereaux is leading the design team with HansonLA handling the interior, MultiHousing News reports.

Hankey Investment Co president Scott Dobbins said Circa is a big part of DTLA's revitalization. It will change the L.A. skyline and "with 17k SF of vibrant digital signage spanning across one of the busiest areas in the city, Circa is going to be a staple that allows DTLA to rival New York’s Times Square," he said.

Circa will consist of 648 luxury units with 48k SF of ground-level retail space. It is scheduled to open early next year. [MHN]
