Chamberlain Hrdlicka law firm completed a $6M renovation of its headquarters at Two Allen Center, the office tower at 1200 Smith St. in Downtown Houston.
The firm announced its plans to remodel the space, where it has been since 1985, in conjunction with extending its lease through 2035 in late 2022.

Architecture, design and planning firm Gensler and commercial construction company O’Donnell Snider collaborated on the remodel, with support from the Cushman & Wakefield team led by Tim Relyea, which assisted with the lease extension.
“The recent Allen Center campus renovations and added amenities created an inviting work environment for our team, clients and visitors. Renovating our office further enriches our employees’ experience and takes our culture of excellence and collaboration to the next level,” John Meredith, chief operating officer for Chamberlain Hrdlicka, said in a news release.
New features include an internal staircase, more glass walls to maximize natural light, new audiovisual equipment, a Zoom room, more communal spaces and a self-checkout pantry with grab-and-go options.
PEOPLE
JLL announced a series of promotions in its Houston office. Jack Russo has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president, specializing in office agency leasing.
JLL also promoted Houston industrial brokers Carl Mueller and Will Clay from vice president to senior vice president. David Holland transitioned from senior associate to vice president, and Eliza Klein was promoted from associate to senior associate.
Tim Gregory, specializing in healthcare and life sciences, has been promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president, while Isaiah Wilson in land advisory has moved from associate to senior associate.

Method Architecture has announced several promotions. Jackie Rye was appointed principal of market operations. She will oversee Method’s Houston, Dallas and San Antonio markets.
Katherine Rorie was promoted to director of market operations. She has been a studio manager for 12 years and will now oversee multiple teams at the Houston office.
Juan Ponce was promoted to studio manager. He joined Method in 2019 as a project manager and will now manage a team.

SynergenX, a hormone replacement therapy company, leased 54K SF at Viva Center, the 2.3M SF former HPE/Compaq Computer Campus on State Highway 249 between Beltway 8 and the Grand Parkway in Houston. The campus has 1.3M SF of industrial space, 1M SF of office and tech lab space, and 2M SF of parking garages.
Eduardo Morales, CEO of Mexcor International and Morales Capital Group, acquired the campus in early 2022.
