Team Rubicon, a nonprofit that unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders, leased an 8K SF warehouse at 2710 Reed Road in Houston. The organization will use the space to rebuild 100 homes destroyed during Hurricane Harvey.

"In order for Team Rubicon to fulfill its commitment to Houston-area residents impacted by Hurricane Harvey, it was imperative we invest in a space that would allow us to store and distribute equipment as well as organize and train volunteers and staff for the work that lies ahead," Team Rubicon Senior Construction Manager David Venables said.

Flix’s founder plans to build and lease the cinema-brewery on a portion of the new 300K SF entertainment, dining and retail destination at Grand Parkway and West Airport Boulevard. The planned Flix Brewhouse is the chain’s new prototype theater, comprising 38K SF and nine auditoriums.

Houston‐based developer Vista Equities Group broke ground on a major expansion of University Commons, a new retail and lifestyle center at Sugar Land’s Telfair community off Interstate 69.
