Camden Property Trust appointed University of Houston president Renu Khator and Heather Brunner to the company's Board of Trust Managers.

Khator and Brunner are replacing Lewis Levey and Gardner Parker, who are retiring in May. "Renu will bring her experience in overseeing a four-university organization that serves nearly 70,000 students, has an annual budget that exceeds $1.7B, and produces a $6B-plus economic impact on the Greater Houston area," Camden president Keith Oden said in a statement. Brunner is CEO of WP Engine, a private cloud content management services company.

Motel 6 Hobby

Repping both sides of the deal, CBRE’s Tyler Bean, Michael Yu and Rahul Bijlani executed the sale of Motel 6 at Hobby Airport. Maankee Hospitality acquired the 144-room property from Aum Sai Ram.

Colliers’ Marshall Clinkscales and Vaughan Ford repped the seller in the dispositon of a 5.4-acre tract on West Broadway in Pearland. John Gross repped the buyer, The Centre At Ridge Rock.

NAI Partners' Griff Bandy and Kelly Torian repped Post Oak Energy Capital in the acquisition of a 27k SF office building in the Riverway submarket at 34 South Wynden Drive in Houston. Cushman & Wakefield's Trey Strake repped the seller.

Black Label Commercial Group’s Beau Harris repped Stratton Development & Construction in the sale of a fully leased single-tenant 8,400 SF office/warehouse at 828 FM 1960 in Houston.

NAI Partners’ John Ferruzzo and Michael Keegan repped ArrowRock Tres-Industrial in selling a 57k SF manufacturing facility on 4.6 acres at 23300 Peyton Road in Houston. Hutaib’s Mansuer Hussain repped the buyer, Hakeem Real Properties.

Lee & Associates’ Patrick Wolford repped the seller of 1.5 acres just south of Highway 290 on Barker Cypress Road.

Greens Crossing

Transwestern’s Michelle Wogan and Monte Calvert leased 41k SF to Vantiv, a Cincinnati-based credit card processing company, at Reserve at Greens Crossing. The property is at 11410 Greens Crossing in the North Houston District. Vantiv was repped by David Guion with Cushman & Wakefield.

CJG Engineers renewed 5,100 SF at the Westchase III building at 3200 Wilcrest Drive in Houston. Moody Rambin's Kurt Kistler and Karen Wright repped the building owner, Gupta Richmond Avenue. JLL's Ed Prejean repped the tenant.

NAI Partners’ Chris Caudill and Joel Michael repped Manning Family Partnership in leasing a 24k SF crane-served warehouse facility at 8777 Tallyho, Building 3, in Houston.

Pilie Inc sold a 27k SF land parcel and 8,800 SF office building at 3621 West Alabama St in Houston. JLL’s Louis Rosenthal, Elizabeth Clampitt and Anya Marmuscak repped the seller and 1912 Ventures' Maury Bronstein and John Wall Jr. repped the buyer.

LEASES

Hanover Rice Village

HFF arranged fixed-rate financing for Hanover Rice Village, a 379-unit, Class-A, podium-style apartment community near Rice University. HFF worked on behalf of the borrower, The Hanover Co, to secure the 10-year, fixed-rate loan through an agency lender. The HFF debt placement team was led by managing director Cortney Cole, executive managing director Scott Galloway and real estate analyst Dustin Selzer.

Brad Boyer is retiring from Collaborative Engineering Group. With his departure, the firm promoted Andy Solberg to partner. Solberg joined CEG in 2016 and has more than 20 years of experience in the MEP industry.
