One of the state’s most well-respected eminent domain law firms strengthened its ranks with Christopher Clough and Christopher Oddo assuming the roles of managing partners. The firm’s name is changing to Barron, Adler, Clough & Otto.

Cushman & Wakefield's Parker/Littman team completed the sale of waterfront property in Port Arthur. The asset is approximately 21.58 acres with a fully stabilized yard and dock improvements alongside a 50k SF fabrication facility.

An undisclosed buyer purchased 2.12 acres of unrestricted land. Betz Commercial's Gloria Parrino repped the seller while RE/MAX Prestige's Lupe Flores repped the buyer.

An affiliate of Wile Interests purchased two land parcels totaling 1.2 acres on the north 610 Loop just east of Yale Street. JLL's Matt Parsons and Mark Raines repped the buyer, and Tarantino’s Glenn Groth and John Gribble repped the seller. A 10k SF retail center is planned for the site.

George Montes repped Chaparral Insulation in leasing 12k SF of warehouse space in Houston. Nick Peterson and John Ferruzzo of NAI Partners repped the landlord, Avausa Investments.
Denise Ksiazek repped Edgar Ray in the sale of a 3,700 SF office building in Tomball. Moody Rambin's Ryan King repped the buyer, Athena Consulting.
Kimberly DeVos repped Flying Ace Ink in leasing 2,200 SF of flex space in Hanna Business Park in Oakridge.
DEVELOPMENT
EE Reed topped out GeoSouthern Six Pines in The Woodlands. The project included a 22k SF renovation and a new 25k SF two-story office building. The team includes GeoSouthern Energy Corp, Archway Properties and architects Kirksey and Mohle Design.

The Woodlands MP4 building broke ground. The project consists of a 176k SF, five-story MOB on the Memorial Hermann Woodlands Campus. It’s scheduled to be completed in early 2017. Balfour Concord is managing the construction. Powers Brown Architecture provided the design.

The Proguard Storage Facility-West Gray recently completed. The 154k SF, five-story, climate-controlled, 1,111-unit facility was constructed by EE Reed.

Ronald McDonald House Houston, Magnolia Hotels and PwC Charitable Foundation partnered up to give sick children and their parents a perfect day. The companies set up a fun interactive Kid Station, a restful spa treatment for parents, a gourmet candlelight dinner, a private performance by the University of Houston Orchestra and a magic show.
