10 Chicago-Area Buildings To Vie For International BOMA Honors

Ten Chicago-area properties are in the running for the Building Owners and Managers Association's The Outstanding Building of the Year Awards at BOMA's annual conference in San Antonio this June. The buildings won BOMA North Central region TOBYs, recognizing excellence in office building management and operations in specific categories of building size or type.

One of the winners is 1KFulton, which took home a regional TOBY in the Earth category, recognizing buildings and building management teams that preserve and enhance the internal and external environment through green and sustainable programs. Sterling Bay is the property manager and American Realty Advisors owns the building.

The other properties awarded regional TOBYs are 120 South LaSalle (Historical Property); 737 North Michigan (Mixed-Use); 205 West Wacker (Renovated Building); Naperville Woods Office Center (Suburban Office Park, Low-Rise); Arboretum Lakes in Lisle (Suburban Office Park, Mid-Rise); 626 West Jackson (Building under 100K SF); Edens Corporate Center (Building between 100K SF and 250K SF); Windy Point II in Schaumburg (Building between 250K SF and 500K SF); 100 North Riverside (Building between 500K SF and 1M SF); and 500 West Madison (Building over 1M SF).

International TOBY winners will be announced at BOMA's TOBY Awards banquet as part of BOMA International's 2018 Every Building Conference on June 26.
