Bisnow Fantasy Football: Team Captain Spotlights

Meet more of the wily pros leading the charge in Bisnow's fantasy football league, starting with Bradford Allen's Ben Azulay. (He's snapped before the season opener with three of four kids: Jeremy Cutler, Elise Urlacher, and Lauren.) Ben has been a diehard, season-ticket-holding Bear fan his whole life. Also a huge Wisconsin Badger fan (his alma mater), Ben remembers standing in line with spiked coffee at Camp Randall to get seats on game day. His busy year has included: a 34k SF deal for Zirmed at 111 N Canal, a 42k SF deal at 1 Pierce Pl in Itasca for Epsilon, and also repping Baderbrau Brewing Co in finding its new South Loop facility. He's planning a trip to Israel in April for his real estate-loving wife Heidi (partner at DLA Piper) and their four kiddos.

MACK Cos’ Scott Fridrych played tight end in high school at Lyons Township and cheers for UMich and Da Bears, he tells us, and his fantasy strategy includes leveraging MACK’s all-star wide receiver core to compensate for lackluster running backs. (Needless to say, he didn’t like the auto-draft.) Head of residential construction at MACK, Scott says a package of 23 investment homes the firm recently sold to a fund required his team to turn around 11 redevelopments in under three weeks. Outside of the office, he recently purchased a new home. When he’s not elbow-deep in construction projects, he likes mountain biking on the paths in Palos and this winter will focus on his daughter’s basketball competitions for the Special Olympics.
