Hear Chicago Power Woman Collete English-Dixon Speak at Bisnow's Capital Stack Event

If you were at our event last November celebrating the top 50 women in Chicago real estate, you won't want to miss our upcoming hard-hitting panel, The Real Estate Money Machine: Chicago's Capital Markets Power Brokers, Aug. 6 at 7am at the Trump International Hotel & Tower. Among our featured panelists: Prudential Real Estate Investment executive director Collete English-Dixon.

Collete co-leads the Prudential's national investment dispositions platform, and she's had her fingers on many buildings dotting the Chicago skyline. (Highlights include the acquisition of 120 N LaSalle and the development of Left Bank at Kinzie Station with Fifield.) Her accidental intro to a 35-year career at PREI (in Chicago and Atlanta): She found the company at a job fair after getting her finance degree at Notre Dame, and those early law school aspirations are now a distant memory. As a frequent mentor via CREW, Goldie Scholars, ULI and PREI's women's leadership network, she advises: It's about building a network, being visible, cultivating relationships that might lead to sponsorship and learning about all aspects of your industry. Collete and her husband (snapped in Bruges, Belgium) celebrated their 25th anniversary with a trip to Europe, and she and her 21-year-old daughter share a passion for animated films (they collect the hand-drawn cels). Hear Collete and other major players in Chicago's capital markets at The Real Estate Money Machine: Chicago's Capital Markets Power Brokers, Aug. 6 at 7am, at the Trump International Hotel and Tower.
