Margaret keeps everyone at tenant rep Cresa focused on growth. Given the strong real estate market and the importance of such assets on client balance sheets, Margaret is overseeing Cresa’s expansion. It's adding staff in consulting, project management and industrial advisory services as well as more specialized practice areas: legal, medical, life science and energy. Margaret entered commercial real estate mid-career, after working in DC as an NPR lobbyist and founder of various trade associations. Colliers recruited her to be CEO, where she stayed for 10 years building the organization and brand. She says that real estate, now a major tool for the recruitment and retention of top talent, is ever changing and fascinating and has many possible paths as a profession. Advice: run toward the light; don’t be shy and dig into your sense of humor often.
