Chevron Partners has purchased the historic Sears’ Crescent Building in Boston’s Government Center neighborhood for $23.8M from Copley Investments.
The 50,300 SF building is directly across from the new Government Center subway station, and is 100% leased to a roster of 14 tenants. NGKF’s Capital Markets Group oversaw the transaction on behalf of Copley.
Financing
CBRE/New England’s Capital Markets team has arranged for $84.3M in total financing for the construction of Serenity, a 195-unit luxury apartment community from Boston-based developer Longwood Group. Longwood began construction of the transit-oriented community this month.
Leasing
Junk removal company 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Has signed on for 10k SF at 25 Brigham St in Westborough. SVN Parsons Commercial Group Boston repped the landlord and secured the tenant.
Development
At the Stonybrook LLC and CRM Property Management Corp have submitted a proposal to the Boston Redevelopment Authority for a five-story, 49-unit condo complex with ground-floor retail at 3193 Washington St in Jamaica Plain, near the Samuel Adams brewery and Egleston Square.

Nauset Construction has completed the construction of Temple Place, a six-story, transit-oriented affordable housing complex in Cambridge. The company completed the $11M project on behalf of project owner Cambridge Housing Authority. HMFH Architects was tasked with design for the project, which achieved Enterprise Green Community certification.

New York-based development group Westbrook Partners has filed plans for a 17-story, 250-key hotel in Chinatown at 73-79 Essex St. Construction is expected to begin in Q3 2017 if the project is given the green light.

Integrated Builders has broken ground on a 105k SF office expansion at Two Wells Avenue in Newton on behalf of owner Two Wells Avenue LLC. The new three-story addition will feature a modern design and provide additional workspace for continued tenant growth.
