ONE, TWO, THREE, STRETCH, FLEX

No, this isn't the team back-scratching sport everyone's talking about. These are Skanska construction workers stretching their triceps as part of last week?s serious five-day effort to stay in shape to avoid workplace injuries. The company says construction industry workers suffer 40% of all fatal workplaceaccidents. Last week, 53,000 Skanska employees and thousands of subcontractors, suppliers, and business partners (in more than 10,000 worksites in 18 countries) held daily exercise sessions to focus on safety. In Skanska's business plan for 2011-2015 is a goal to eliminate three out of four lost-time accidents.
