Next week, at Bisnow's Boston Student Housing Summit, ADDInc principal BK Boley (above with colleagues Tamara Roy and Ariana Melzer) will discuss two residence halls at UMass Lowell that his team designed: a 500-bed building (if you want to reveal your advanced age, call it a "dorm") completed in September, and another 600-bed facility underway. Both try to encourage students to mingle and collaborate through a myriad of lounges and conference rooms. Now that wireless rules, some bedrooms don't even have data ports.
