Helping USGBC Maryland celebrate last week at Gensler’s Baltimore office were Maryland Department of the Environment sustainability coordinator Laura Armstrong and Substance151’s Ida Cheinman. Laura works with businesses to green their operations and gain recognition via the Maryland Green Registry, most recently helping two hospitals trying to reduce electronic plug load and two manufacturers trying to reduce solid waste with compressed air systems and improve energy efficiency with lighting upgrades.
