Hotel RL to Open Aug. 1 in Baltimore

A new hotel brand that caters to Millennials will open its first property at the Inner Harbor Aug. 1.

Hotel RL Baltimore Inner Harbor will debut its 130-room hotel in the historic Keyser building at 207 E Redwood St and will also have 2,400 SF of meeting space, a restaurant and lounge. It will be Spokane, WA-based Red Lion Hotels Corp.’s first hotel on the East Coast and its first Hotel RL. The company bought the building for $15.7M late last year.

At least two other hotels are set to open in Baltimore soon, Hotel Indigo and luxury boutique hotel The Ivy Hotel. Incidentally, the Keysar building was originally slated to become a Hotel Indigo but plans fell through after the former developer faced financial difficulties.
