Portman Pumping Big Renovation Bucks Into Its Downtown Restaurant

Portman Holdings is looking to shake up its two-year-old, high-end restaurant at its Downtown Atlanta Hotel Indigo property.

The developer — currently building the towering Coda technology tower in Midtown — is slated to spend more than $500K to renovate JP Atlanta, What Now Atlanta reports. The restaurant, inside the Hotel Indigo at 230 Peachtree St., was partially converted in 2016 from a 27-story, 1960s-era office building by Portman.

Legacy manages and owns both a number of hotels and restaurants throughout the Southeast. Among its eateries are SkyLounge atop the Glenn Hotel in Atlanta, two Max's Coal Oven Pizzerias and Twin Smokers BBQ.
