And it may be good to know considering Michelle is the real estate manager for Chipotle and responsible for the eatery's expansion in metro Atlanta. Michelle, a speaker at our Atlanta Retail Summittomorrow (one more shameless plug), tells us that the lack of new retail development has forced the chain to be creative with the spaces it takes. ?The availability of new inventory has increased our willingness to do second generation space,? Michelle says, adding that the company is seeking two new locations in metro Atlanta this year. ?The economy hasn't yielded much new product, so we've just become more flexible.?
