Is Mark Zuckerberg the New Owner of an NYC Townhouse?

An anonymous buyer dropped $22.3M on a townhouse at 157 W 12th St, and there's a good chance that buyer could be Mark Zuckerberg. There are quite a few breadcrumbs leading to Zuckerberg, starting with the signer of the deed: LLC manager Tom van Loben Sels, the same man who registered an LLC Zuckerberg used to buy his Palo Alto house in 2011. Van Loben Sels, a registered agent for Zuckerberg's Openness Foundation, also helped Zuckerberg refinance a $5.95M mortgage on his home in 2012. Additionally, some of the documents filed for the 3,200 SF home were filed in Santa Clara, an area that includes Palo Alto. It's also possible that the buyer could be Zuckerberg's sister Randi Zuckerberg. Van Loben Sels helped her sell her Los Altos home in June for $6.55M. [NYO]
