As part of Bisnow’s continuing efforts to revamp its news coverage, the company is pleased to announce New York City real estate journalist Lois Weiss will become a featured columnist.

On Monday, March 27, Weiss will start producing a biweekly column on pressing issues and big questions facing the city’s commercial real estate industry. Weiss will continue reporting for the Post while she contributes to Bisnow.

Weiss has covered New York real estate for 27 years, including the last 17 as a reporter and columnist for the New York Post. Weiss has broken some of the biggest stories in NYC commercial real estate, including, most recently, Spotify’s relocation to 4 World Trade Center and the first interview with Eric Trump after his father’s inauguration.

“I am excited to contribute my voice to Bisnow’s reinvention as a primary commercial real estate news and information source,” Weiss said.

In addition to her work for the Post, Weiss has written for Real Estate Weekly, Crain’s and The Real Deal and is a past president of the National Association of Real Estate Editors.

"Having someone of Lois' caliber join our newsroom at this critical moment in our evolution is further validation of Bisnow's commitment to deliver the most compelling news and analysis to our readers," Bisnow editor-in-chief and vice president of content Mark F. Bonner said. "No one knows more about how New York real estate works, how the most important deals get made and where the industry will go next. We are thrilled to welcome her to our team."
