Fannie Mae Adds Three Execs To The Board

Fannie Mae just brought on three new execs, whose experience, the firm hopes, will help it steer through turbulent waters.

Hugh Frater, Renee Glover and Michael Heid are the execs in question, and the chairman of the Board of Directors, Egbert Perry, says he’s glad to have them, HousingWire reports.

“These three leaders bring to the Board a combination of deep experience and knowledge about the mortgage business, stature and influence in the housing finance industry, and immense respect in affordable housing circles,” Perry says.

Heid recently retired as president of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, where he worked for 28 years among several different executive positions. Frater was the chairman and CEO of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage and was a founding partner of BlackRock, and Glover is the founder of The Catalyst Group, a national consulting firm. [HousingWire]
