Prince’s $10M Mansion Is Being Converted To A Museum

Prince’s Paisley Park home outside Minneapolis is being turned into a museum to honor his legacy.

"It would be for the fans. He was all about the fans—this would remember his music, which is his legacy," says Maurice Phillips, the music mega-star’s brother-in-law, after Prince’s tragic death last Tuesday, Business Insider reports.

The mansion covers 65k SF and is reportedly worth $10M. Its first floor is devoted to production and recording studios, a soundstage and a rehearsal hall, while The Purple One lived on the second floor.

The house is also rumored to hold the famous "Prince Vault"—a treasure chest that supposedly holds unreleased songs by the artist. [BI]
