Fabulous Real Estate Of Oprah Winfrey

Oprah is the talk of the town after her passionate speech at the Golden Globes Jan. 7, so we resurrected this story — originally published June 28, 2016 — about her real estate holdings.

Talk about a woman of many talents — the billionaire, businesswoman, producer and philanthropist is also a collector of real estate assets.

You've already seen the property holdings of musical genius Prince, and the to-die-for digs of Super Bowl champ Tom Brady — now let’s take a look at some of OWN-namesake Oprah Winfrey’s sexiest properties.

Seamair Farm

Oprah coughed up nearly $29M for this equestrian estate in Montecito last December. The 24-acre horse ranch, aka Seamair Farm, functions as a fully equipped equestrian estate with a single-story 5k SF ranch house, a deep covered patio and a swimming pool.

Telluride Home

Oprah shelled out $14M for a 8.7k SF contemporary home in Telluride, CO. (pictured). The five bedroom home sits on roughly 3.2 acres and is fit with a gym, a 45-foot-long walkway–suspended 35 feet above the ground—that leads to a treetop observation deck and a 56-foot tunnel that holds 1,600 bottles of wine. The off-market deal closed in December 2015.

Telluride Ski Resort

The media mogul put up nearly $11M to pick up 60 acres adjacent to the Telluride Ski Resort in early 2014. Oprah plans to build a home on the property, which has excellent views of the mountains and can be accessed via Telluride’s Galloping Goose ski trail.

The Promised Land

This Montecito estate, dubbed the Promised Land, is where Oprah spends a great deal of time. The 40-acre property is fit with a Georgian-style main building that covers 23k SF, and also includes an upscale outhouse (that’s right–an outdoor loo) and more than 600 rose bushes. She acquired the property in 2001 for $50M.

Maui Farmhouse

Supposedly the former talk-show queen owns quite a bit of real estate in Hawaii; most evident is her farm in Maui. Here resides a farmhouse that Oprah stripped and renovated to include a high ceiling master bedroom, all French doors and a veranda wrapped around the entire house. Additional features include 16 acres of farmland, on which 100 variations of fruit, veggies and herbs are grown, and hens are supplying eggs.

Paradise Island

Hankering for an exotic trip to the Bahamas? Oprah doesn’t have to worry about lodging accommodations, as the billionaire owns a home in Paradise Island. Oh, and she has a private jet she can use to get there.
