American Dream Miami to Be Nation's Biggest Mall

Triple Five Group revealed more details about the American Dream Miami mall and theme park project in South Florida this week, including the fact that it will be larger than Triple Five's Mall of America, with 3M SF of retail, 2M SF of entertainment and 2,000 hotel rooms. The retail mix, however, would be similar to the behemoth Minnesota mall. The American Dream proposal's indoor ski slope and water park would also use recycled water; the company's in discussions with the city of Hialeah about the matter. The project will take about four years to develop, according to Triple Five. [SFBJ]
