Dustin started at Southern Land Company in 2005, and today leads Southern Land Company’s Northeast Division of multifamily development, including acquisitions, construction management and mixed-used development. He is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition and development process, making sure his projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Currently Dustin’s team is directing the development and construction of three Southern Land projects in Philadelphia, PA: 3601 Market, 3750 Lancaster and 1911 Walnut. Dustin previously worked on several successful Southern Land projects including Elliston23, a LEED Certified Silver mixed-use project in Nashville. Dustin also directed the development of Devon Four25 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and helped oversee the Arthouse and Lofts at Watters Creek developments in Texas.

Dustin is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

Senior Vice President and Managing Director, John Banas, brings more than 11 years of commercial real estate experience to Walker & Dunlop. Based out of the Company’s Philadelphia office, Mr. Banas is responsible for the origination and placement of debt, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and JV equity for all property types. Mr. Banas began his career in the commercial real estate industry with a regional firm in 2005 and has since closed more than $1 billion in commercial real estate financing transactions.

Most recently, Mr. Banas was a senior vice president and director at Colliers International. Prior to his time at Colliers, he served as senior director on Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp.’s IPA Capital Markets platform. Prior to entering the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Banas owned and operated a chain of independent fitness centers in the Philadelphia Area.

Mr. Banas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in both real estate and human resources management from Temple University. Beyond the Company, he is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and Provident Bank’s Advisory Council.

Christophe Terlizzi

Christophe P. Terlizzi is Senior Vice President and Market Leader for Commercial Real Estate Lending at

KeyBank Real Estate Capital, part of a $130 billion national bank headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr.

Terlizzi is responsible for Eastern Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. Metro. He supervises a lending

team whose combined portfolio totals ~$1billion in commercial real estate loans.

He has over 45 years of experience, specializing in all aspects of commercial real estate lending. His

duties have included directing loan policy, setting operating procedures and charting business strategy

for various regional banks ranging in size from $2 billion to $160 billion in assets.

Mr. Terlizzi is past chairman of the Philadelphia District Council of the Urban Land Institute, Treasurer of

Central Philadelphia Development Corporation, Center City District, the Center City District Foundation,

Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corp, and a Director of the Philadelphia Economy League. He is a

graduate of St. Joseph’s University with a BS in Business Administration. He is a frequent panelist and

guest lecturer on commercial real estate lending and has served as an expert witness in a variety of

cases involving commercial real estate litigation.

Mr. Thomson is a Senior Managing Director and co-head of the HFF Philadelphia office

with more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate. He is primarily

responsible for originating investment sales and equity placement transactions throughout

the northeastern United States, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the

firm’s Philadelphia location. Mr. Thomson has executed more than $3 billion in

commercial real estate transactions in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Mr. Thomson joined the firm in December 2013. Prior to HFF, he was Vice President of

Investments and Director of Marcus & Millichap’s national multi-housing group specializing

in the sale of multi-housing assets in the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to his departure, his

team was the highest producing multi-housing team in the Mid-Atlantic.

Kelly Nagel serves as a regional development executive for Aimco Apartment Homes in Bethesda, Maryland, where she is responsible for the development and redevelopment of apartment homes primarily in the Washington D.C. and Philadelphia markets. Ms. Nagel joined Aimco in 2016 after helping Skanska USA Commercial Development launch the company’s multifamily platform in Washington D.C. (2014-2016). Prior to Skanska, she developed luxury apartments at both AvalonBay Communities and Archstone in Washington DC. She is actively involved in the sourcing, underwriting, design, construction, and stabilization of Aimco’s development projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, and has overseen new high-end apartment developments with a total investment of over $500M.

Prior to joining Archstone, Ms. Nagel worked at Regency Centers, a leading retail REIT, and led the creation of pro forma and financial analyses for 150 operating shopping centers in the east coast portfolio, as well as underwriting acquisitions, the development pipeline, and in-process construction projects. She also has extensive strategic planning and project management experience from her time at several organizations including multifamily developer Wood Partners, the Defense Intelligence Agency, IBM, and Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting).

Ms. Nagel serves on the global Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI), where she is vice chair and former treasurer, and she is the immediate past chair of the ULI Washington WLI steering committee. Within ULI, she is the co-chair of programming for both WLI and NEXT Global, and a member of the UDMUC Bronze Product Council.

Ms. Nagel holds a Master of Business Administration from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University.
