Stacy practices in the firm’s Real Estate Finance Group, representing financial institutions and other institutional clients in connection with single-lender and syndicated, multi-lender construction, mezzanine and permanent financing projects on a local and national basis across a variety of asset classes, including office buildings, hotels, multi-family projects and retail centers.

Stacy is a member of the firm’s executive committee. She is also the hiring partner for the firm’s recently expanded summer associate program and a co-chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. In these complementary roles, Stacy is seeking to increase the involvement of more of the firm’s attorneys in the screening, interview, and selection process of incoming associates and to expand both the diversity and the engagement of the firm’s partners, associates, and staff.

Sara Queen is head of equity strategies for MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM) Real Estate group. Sara is responsible for leading MIM’s direct property investment platform, investing on behalf of the MetLife general account as well as third-party institutional investors, including public and private pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and insurance companies.

Sara joined MIM in March 2021. Before joining MIM, she was with Mapletree Investments, a global real estate development, investment and capital management company headquartered in Singapore, where she was head of the company’s North America business. Prior to Mapletree, Sara spent 11 years at Brookfield Property Partners as head of asset management for the company’s U.S. office portfolio, in addition to overseeing strategic planning and management of their expanding closed end accounts business. Before Brookfield, she spent nine years at Clarion Partners in a variety of asset management and portfolio management roles. Sara began her asset management career at MetLife in 1991, before departing in 1996 to pursue her MBA. She has nearly 30 years of industry experience.

Sara currently serves as the board chair for Solar One, an organization which provides education and resources that create more sustainable and resilient urban environments. She is also a member of the Vestry of Trinity Church Wall Street serving on the investment committee overseeing a $5 billion endowment. She recently served as a board member of WX Women Executives in Real Estate.

Sara holds a BA in economics and history from Wellesley College. She also has an MBA from Harvard Business School. Sara is an adjunct professor at Columbia University where she has developed and currently teaches commercial leasing and asset management classes to graduate students as part of the Master of Science of Real Estate Development (MSRED) program.

Samantha Rudin Earls joined Rudin in 2007 and serves as Co‑Chief Executive Officer, representing the fourth generation of Rudin family leadership. 

Samantha played a lead role in the development of 130 West 12th Street and The Greenwich Lane in the West Village. Her work spans design and construction, community outreach, and the cultivation of long-term investor relationships. She currently oversees Rudin’s residential portfolio, including the office-to-residential conversions, as well as the firm’s design, marketing, philanthropic, and human resources functions. 

Samantha is actively engaged in civic, cultural, and philanthropic leadership. She serves on the boards of The Rudin Family Foundations, the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation, Roundabout Theatre Company, Subject Matter, and The Association for a Better New York (ABNY). 

A proud New Yorker, Samantha is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Hilary Spann serves as Executive Vice President, New York Region. Ms. Spann brings to the Company more than 20 years of real estate investment and development experience, most recently the Head of Americas for Real Estate at CPP Investments.  During her tenure at CPP, Ms. Spann was responsible for leading all aspects of the Americas real estate business, including investment strategy and execution, talent acquisition and management, and portfolio management. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2016, Ms. Spann held several executive roles in acquisitions and asset management in the Global Alternatives Group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, including as the head of acquisitions for the northeast region for real estate.  In addition to her responsibilities at BXP, Ms. Spann is an independent Director of Goodman (ASX:GMG).  Ms. Spann is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, and she sits on the board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).  Ms. Spann is also a member of the Economic Club of New York and a Trustee of the Madison Square Park Conservancy.  Ms. Spann graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of City Planning, both from the College of Architecture.  She also studied architecture at the Ecole d’Architecture de Paris – La Villette.

As vice chairman, Cynthia Wasserberger is responsible for agency leasing and tenant representation client services including new business development and implementation. She specializes in the New York City metropolitan area real estate for boutique financial service clients.

Over the course of her 22-year career in real estate, Ms. Wasserberger has completed in excess of 10 million s.f. of transactions in the New York Region. She has been actively involved in providing real estate services to financial service corporate clients such as Merrill Lynch / Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, State Street Bank, and Computer Associates and as leasing agent for prominent owners such as SL Green Realty and Boston Properties.

Ms. Wasserberger’s current agency representation assignments include 601 Lexington Avenue, 159 E 53rd Street, 3 Hudson Boulevard and 540 Madison Avenue for Boston Properties, 437 Madison Avenue and 747 Third Avenue for William Kaufmann Organization, 1166 Avenue of the Americas and 51 Astor Place for Edward J. Ms. Wasserberger leads JLL’s alternative investment practice group. For the past two decades, she has assisted key prime brokerage groups and focuses on transaction work for numerous boutique hedge funds and investment management firms. She has completed in excess of 100 transactions over the past for clients including Davidson Kempner, Tiger Management, Tudor Funds, LibreMax, Traxis Partners, Canyon Capital, Bridger Management, Cadian Capital, Grosvenor, Investcorp, Metalmark Capital, Laurion Capital, Ospraie, Suffolk Capital, Saba Capital, and Royce Funds.

Laura Bush has over 20 years of experience in the construction management industry. Her journey from the field, as a construction superintendent almost 20 years ago to her current position as Senior Vice President and Operational Delivery Director for Lendlease, represents a career growth success story for women in the construction industry.

Laura began her career at Lendlease working as a construction superintendent in the field at the Chiswick Park office development in London. In January 2001, she transferred to New York City to work on the AOL Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle. Laura has since worked on luxury residential projects such as Fifteen Central Park West and 150 Amsterdam (Aire) and on the pre-construction of 250 West 55th Street, a midtown office development.

Laura managed the overall construction of the 55-story, Hyatt Hotel at Times Square, which opened at the end of 2013, and the completion of the luxury residential project at One Madison Park. Most recently, she managed the construction of a two-acre site in downtown Manhattan at One Manhattan Square (250 South Street). In addition, she has overseen the completion of foundations for a luxury residential building in Sutton Place, Manhattan. Effective November 2018, Ms. Bush transitioned from NYC construction operations and commenced a National role with Lendlease, with the primary purpose of promoting consistency through project delivery in the Americas business.

Laura actively participates in the Lendlease regional women’s group in New York City. Laura has served as Chapter President of the Great New York and Long Island Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). She was a founding co-chair of the Ambassador Council for Non-Traditional Employment for Women (NEW), who provide free training for women who want to enter the construction trades. Ms. Bush continues to support NEW, and some of her projects have participated in the NEW Signature Projects program, which promotes the hiring of tradeswomen on New York City construction sites.

Ms. Bush met her husband, Andrew, while working on her first construction project in Manhattan. They reside in Westfield, NJ with their young daughters, Alexis (10) and Liza (7).

Rebecca brings to her work a commitment to design excellence in

connecting the interior and exterior experience. Her strength lies in her

passion and ability to develop projects that are both functional and beautiful.

Rebecca’s meticulous attention to detail enhances her designs through a

process that translates the aspirations of the client and KPF’s values into

the built environment. She celebrates the collaborative relationships created

throughout the process, from conception to construction, revealing well-

crafted and creative solutions. Demonstrating this approach at a range of

scales, Rebecca has been integral in the success of one of KPF’s smallest

projects, the boutique luxury residential condominium 500 W 21 st St, as well

as the firm’s largest infrastructure project, Changi Airport Terminal 5.

Overseeing KPF’s residential and hotel planning projects, Rebecca brings

more than a two-decade history of work in the US, Asia, and Europe, and

the accompanying sensitivities of their specific geographic location and the

international trends that transform neighborhoods. In London, a city less

known for high-rise residential living, she led the planning of the 500-unit 40

Charter Street. She applied lessons from her extensive luxury residential

planning in New York City to create a new form of neighborhood with a

range of unit types and robust indoor and outdoor amenities within a single

building in London. In Beijing, she led WF Central, a luxury retail and

hospitality destination adjacent to the Forbidden City. Modern in its offering

and experience, the project is sensitive to the traditional and historical

neighborhood in which it stands.

Rebecca has served as a part-time faculty member at Parsons School of

Design; a guest critic at Columbia University’s Graduate School of

Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and NYIT’s School of Architecture

and Design; and a lecturer at Yale School of Architecture. Rebecca is a

former term member of The Council of Foreign Relations. She is a

registered architect in the State of New York.

Karen Hu leads a team of deeply experienced professionals on the whole range of affordable development deals—from ground up new construction to preservation of NYCHA projects.

Karen has successfully completed multiple high-profile projects throughout her decades long career. She got her start in real estate at HPD, as a City Planner in the Bronx Planning Unit. She then worked at Phipps Houses as a development project manager on new construction multi-family deals in the South Bronx and Harlem. While she was at The Hudson Companies, she was the project lead on One Clinton, the redevelopment of the Brooklyn Heights Library into a luxury condominium project with the largest branch in the Brooklyn Public Library system. Karen holds a B.A. in Art History from Williams College and M.S. in Real Estate Development and City Planning from M.I.T.

YuhTyng (“Tyng”) Patka is chair of the NYC Real Estate Tax and Incentives Practice Group and chair of the firm's NYC Climate Mobilization Act Task Force and PACE Financing Practice.

Tyng provides a road map to her clients for the optimal way to minimize their property tax burden. Tyng represents owners in challenging their property taxes (certiorari) and is one of New York City’s top experts on building tax classifications, having successfully argued and litigated on matters relating to building misclassifications which have led to significant tax refunds.

For Tyng’s developer clients, she advises on strategies to reduce a project’s tax liability and represents developers on NYC tax incentive programs such as 421-a, ICAP, and IDA benefits such as FRESH. Tyng also counsels not-for-profit organizations on how to qualify for property tax exemptions for space that they own and occupy and advises nonprofits on leasehold condominium formation as one popular strategy for successfully obtaining property tax exemptions.

Tyng’s practice also includes representing developers on matters relating to Inclusionary Housing zoning benefits before the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (“HPD”). She regularly represents developers on inclusionary housing applications (VIH, MIH, PFASH/AIRS) and provides her developer clients advice on preserving their project’s rights to property tax and zoning benefits simultaneously. Tyng also regularly represents developers in their acquisition or disposition of inclusionary air rights.

Sherry Wang is a Partner at The Vistria Group in Real Estate. Prior to joining Vistria, Sherry was a managing director and co-head of the Urban Investment Group at Goldman Sachs. Under her leadership, UIG invested $12 billion in public-private partnerships to create equitable economic development across the United States. Prior to joining the Urban Investment Group, Sherry worked in the Investment Banking division at Goldman Sachs.

Sherry received a B.A. in Economics & Mathematics from Yale University, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Sherry serves on the New York Advisory Board of Enterprise Community Partners, where she co-chairs the policy committee. She is on the Board of Directors of the Center for an Urban Future. She is a Salzburg Global Fellow and was recognized on the 2023 Power 100 list by Commercial Observer.

As the Chief Revenue Officer, Residential Ms. Arcaro is responsible for the

overall revenue strategy and its implementation for RXR’s extensive

residential portfolio, across multiple regions in the United States. She

oversees an integrated workstream across Operations, Development,

Marketing, Sales/Leasing, and Portfolio Management to enhance the product,

create brand premium, and drive revenue streams above competitive assets

in each market.

Ms. Arcaro joined RXR in 2017, serving as Executive Vice President – Head

of Marketing and Retail Leasing for the company. She was responsible for

overseeing the marketing and communications of RXR’s 25.6 million square

feet of commercial assets in Manhattan and the surrounding region, as well as

the concepts, design strategy, marketing and strategic branding initiatives for

more than 6,200 multi-family units in planning across the region at the time.

As the Head of Retail Leasing, Ms. Arcaro oversaw the strategy and

implementation for the 1.1 million square feet of retail space across RXR’s

New York City and Tri-state portfolio.

Prior to joining RXR, Ms. Arcaro served as Managing Director of Business

Development for SHVO, a luxury real estate company, where she was integral

to key elements of the business, comprising capital raising, EB5 financing,

hotel partner relations, retail activity and sales/marketing efforts. Ms. Arcaro

was senior member in the company’s strategic growth initiatives, effectuating

a $3.5 billion investment and development pipeline in a 24-month period.

Previously, Ms. Arcaro served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at

Vornado Realty Trust, one of the largest publicly traded REITs in the U.S. with

over 100 million square feet across multiple markets during her time there. At

Vornado, Ms. Arcaro was responsible for creating and implementing

marketing strategies including office, retail, residential, and hotel properties,

new developments and major asset repositions. Ms. Arcaro oversaw

Vornado’s major branding initiatives. Among her accomplishments includes

building an interdisciplinary, multi award-winning marketing program for

Vornado’s corporate, New York, and street retail platforms, which included

innovations in digital marketing and technologies, as well as industry-leading

sales centers and product positioning. She oversaw the marketing and

communications plan of the company’s nationally recognized sustainability

program, and also created a successful public holiday tradition in partnership

with the San Francisco 49ers in California.

Before Vornado, Ms. Arcaro was a commercial real estate broker working on

tenant representation, landlord agency, consulting services and investment

opportunities for multinationals and institutional organizations.

Ms. Arcaro has been listed as one of New York’s Real Estate Power Women

in each year since 2018. She is a member of the Leadership Committee of the

American Lung Association. Ms. Arcaro has produced award-winning feature

length and short films featured at SXSW and Sundance Film Festivals,

including a critically and politically hailed feature on conditions of Veterans,

which garnered over 12 awards and coverage in the Washington Post,

International Herald Tribune, and the New York Times.

Laurie, an accomplished deal maker, is partner and co-chair of the firm’s global real estate practice. She takes a client-focused approach to her real estate practice, often acting as in-house counsel for her clients and becoming a trusted member of their businesses. She has a long list of clients who have been with her since the beginning of her practice and appreciate her ability to adeptly and efficiently handle any type of real estate deal. She is recognized as a leading lawyer in Chambers USA 2021, noting that she is “a strong negotiator” and “she has a great business sense combined with legal knowledge.” Most recently, for the second year in a row, Commercial Observer included her in their elite “Power 100” list, which recognizes the most powerful players in real estate.

Laurie represents real estate private equity funds, companies, institutional REITs, investors and other property owners in structuring and closing real estate transactions such as acquisitions and dispositions, developments, financings, portfolio transactions, preferred equity investments, leasing and real estate joint ventures. Her work touches all asset classes, including office, multifamily, affordable housing, workforce housing, mixed-use, life sciences, hospitality, retail and condominium. She also maintains an active capital markets and fund practice, representing investors in joint venture transactions and sophisticated fund and tax structures. Laurie is also well-versed in the Opportunity Zone program and helps clients through the process of structuring and investing in qualified properties and vehicles.

Laurie is involved in a number of non-profit and charitable organizations focusing on increasing diversity in real estate. She serves on the Advisory Board and spearheads the firm’s legal partnership with Project Destined, an organization dedicated to transforming minority youth into owners in the communities in which they live, work and play. She also serves as co-chair for Rebuilding New York’s “She Builds” program, where she organizes an annual renovation day, rehabilitating a New York City community center in need.
