Summary

1) What is blockchain, how is it relevant to CRE and where will we see the most significant impact?

2) How are advances in technology changing the way we interact with the built world and what does that mean high profile developments such as sports arenas?

3) Given the extent to which we interact with CRE in office and retail, how will advances in tech such as 5G connectivity change the way in which work and shop?

4) What technology should owners and developers be investing their innovation dollars in (Hey Alexa!!) and where are the highest returns to be had for CRE owners and end users?

5) Which characteristics do VC investors value most when it comes to investing in CRE tech startups and how are founders on the hunt for funding responding to slowing investment as a result of a maturing market?

Why This Matters?

Given the reports of the first real estate transactions being conducted with Bitcoin, Bisnow goers have been left wondering whether Blockchain's disruptive forces will also be seen in real estate. As home to some of the nation's most innovative developments from 340MK to SL Green's One Vanderbilt Avenue, disruption is not a new concept, but exactly how much of an impact is it realistic to expect technology to have and what will the impact feel like?

Join Bisnow as we investigate what the world’s tech and CRE thought leaders are doing to drive innovation and get you the answers to the industries’ most challenging questions. Our all-star panelists, startup founders, and investors will provide a glimpse of what’s to come for the rest of the nation and share insight as to when the industry is going to leapfrog forwards.

Share your comments, nominate a startup, post your photos and ask questions using #CRETechSummit on Twitter and Instagram, and follow us at @Bisnow on Twitter for more local news.
