Hamid grew up in the construction industry by learning the trade in his family’s real estate development business and has pursued a technology-oriented education and professional life in the past 20 years. Prior to founding Zebel in 2019, Hamid led the preconstruction data analytics at Western National Group, a large multifamily development/construction/property management firm, based in Southern California. He now works with large multifamily developers and GC's, such as Irvine Company, Ryan Companies, and Legacy Partners, who share their historical construction cost data anonymously through Zebel, the "Switzerland of Construction Cost Data".

Hamid received a Master of Business Administration from Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, earned a Master of Science in Construction Management and an Engineer degree in Construction Information Technology both from University of Southern California.

Mr. Lamberti has 40 years of proven experience in the real estate industry with both Public REITs and Private companies. He is responsible for establishing and operating Highmark Residential's platform encompassing asset strategy, property and portfolio acquisition review and due diligence, and maximizing property value. He has executed on over $15 billion in real estate transactions during his career.

Before his involvement with Highmark Residential, Mr. Lamberti served as President of Milestone Apartments REIT, Vice President of Archon Group, and COO of Archon Management Services, a majority-owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.

Mr. Lamberti received two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Nevada – Reno. He holds the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and served on the NAA Legislative Committee, Investment Subcommittee, and is on the National Multifamily Housing Council's Board of Directors.

Jason is responsible for overseeing ZOM’s multifamily development activities in the Southwest region. During his career, he has been involved in the investment and development of over 10,000 residential units and over one million square feet of commercial space. Prior to joining ZOM, Jason developed affordable housing projects for a large LIHTC developer and, earlier in his career, developed shopping centers for one of the largest privately held shopping center owners in the country. He holds dual degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona, where he graduated magna cum laude, and is also an alumnus of Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.

Jason is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and the Urban Land Institute where he serves on the Dallas/Fort Worth Advisory Board, Multifamily and Mixed-Use Product Councils, and is a graduate of the Center for Leadership Program. He is an active member of The Real Estate Council where he has served on the Board of Directors and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program. Jason also serves on Klyde Warren Park’s Corporate Council, is a board member for Friends of The Commons, and is a member of Oak Lawn Committee and Downtown Dallas Inc.

Joel Behrens serves as Managing Director within TCC’s Dallas-Fort Worth office and of High Street Residential, TCC’s wholly-owned subsidiary specializing in the development of multifamily housing. In his role, he is responsible for the origination, financing, joint venture structuring, and execution of multi-family investments in Texas. During his tenure at TCC, Joel has executed on 7.1 million square feet of office, multifamily and mixed-use development projects with a total capitalized value of 2.0 billion totaling over 4,700 units. Joel began his career with TCC in 2008 as an Associate in the Houston office, focusing on office development. From 2009-2010, Joel served as an Asset Manager in Dallas, assisting with the investment committee process and oversight of TCC’s development projects. In 2010, Joel joined the Dallas-Fort Worth office as a Vice President where he assisted in the under writing and marketing of office, industrial and multifamily projects. In 2012, Joel took over the leadership of the Dallas-Fort Worth High Street Residential team.

Jeff Slajer, AIA, has been with OMNIPLAN for almost a decade and has led several projects within his time here. As a Principal, his recent multifamily projects consist of the Trinity in Trinity Groves, Superstition Springs in Phoenix, and 2800 Taylor in Deep Ellum. Jeff has a passion for efficient designs and excels at leading complex and intricate projects. He understands the architect's role in creating designs that have innovative and experiential environments and he strives to achieve this in every project. Outside of the office, he spends time with his son and wife and is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to the Sooners football team.

Corey Pruitt is the Director of Operations for KWA Construction. As Director of Operations, Corey is involved in all operational activities of KWA Construction, including overseeing our Project Managers, conducting monthly project team meetings, and working with the project teams to manage safety, quality, schedule and costs.

Corey joined KWA in 2013 as a Project Manager and managed some of KWA’s largest and most complex projects. Prior to his role as Director of Operations, Corey was a Sr. Project Manager where he provided overall management direction for KWA’s projects and served as a liaison with clients, architects and engineers to facilitate all construction activities. Corey was also responsible for managing financial aspects of the project, directing on-site superintendents and coordinating project schedules.

Before joining the KWA team, Corey coordinated and oversaw sales, estimating and project management activities on various multi-family housing and light commercial properties. Corey also served as an engineering consultant for MEP designs used in multi- family, light commercial and residential properties.

Corey earned a Bachelor of Administration in Psychology Degree with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas. In his free time, Corey enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

Jason Brown is the President of Dallas City Homes, an impact nonprofit organization

focused on preserving housing affordability. In its 30 year history, Dallas City homes

has acquired and developed over 2,400 rental units in the most distressed areas of

Dallas, and turned them into safe, vibrant rental communities. Dallas City Homes has

also participated in the development or renovation in more than 350 single family

homes.

Jason is a veteran in the commercial real estate space. He is experienced in working

with privately held real estate investment trusts, developers, and municipalities. He has

closed more than $150 million in commercial and residential transaction volume.

Jason is active in the community. He has worked with the International Council of

Shopping Centers, The Real Estate Council, and D Magazine’s D Academy. He also

sits on the Board of Directors of Fair Park First, an organization responsible for the

redevelopment of Fair Park.

Maggie Parker is the Managing Partner and founder of Innovan Neighborhoods, a community-oriented development and consulting firm bringing over 10 years of experience in community development finance and lending, real estate development, and capacity building. In partnership with Matthews Southwest, Innovan Neighborhoods partners with nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and neighborhood associations to implement their vision. Innovan works to build and strengthen neighborhoods in concert with community stakeholders, from joint ventures for affordable single-family homes to leading phased, master-planning development strategies in transitioning neighborhoods.

Since inception in 2019, Innovan has a $100 million pipeline of affordable housing and small business-anchored development totaling 360+ units. Innovan has also helped community partners position and/or secure over $15 million of investments for revitalization across DFW.

Most recently, Maggie launched the Community Developers Roundtable, a collective network and capacity-building initiative for established, diverse non-profit and for-profit community oriented real estate developers. The first-of-its-kind initiative supports the creation of more affordable housing and accelerated revitalization in underserved communities in Dallas. In collaboration with BCL of Texas, with funding support from JPMorgan Chase, Innovan has raised more than $1.3M for the CDR to provide critical resources for existing organizations to continue leading affordable housing and community-based commercial real estate projects.

Maggie is also active throughout the community, serving on several Boards and community organizations including Vice Chair of the Board of Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance, Texas Mezzanine Fund Board, YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas Foundation Board, and the Alpha Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Angela is a Senior Managing Director in the Dallas office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas, focusing on Affordable Multihousing. She joined JLL in February 2022 as a strategic leader to grow this important market segment.

Prior to joining JLL, Angela was with Fannie Mae for 17 years where most recently she served as Senior Director of Affordable Housing and led the team to successive

record-breaking production volumes. In this position, she determined production

strategy and managed deliveries from Fannie Mae’s nationwide network of lenders.

Her team focused on properties with recorded rent and/or income restrictions or other affordability characteristics.

Before joining Fannie Mae in 2004, Angela worked for Bank of America, providing

construction financing for affordable multifamily properties. She also worked for

AIG/SunAmerica Affordable Housing Partners structuring equity investments in Low

Income Housing Tax Credit properties.

Angela was recognized by Affordable Housing Finance as an industry catalyst and

was named one of AHF’s 2016 Young Leaders. She has served on the board of the

Central Arlington Housing Development Corporation and as an officer on the board of the North Texas Housing Coalition.

Joanne has been active in the multifamily industry since 1994, and joined Greystar through the JPI acquisition in 2008. Joanne’s experience includes predevelopment, new construction lease ups, high-rise, mid-rise, garden, senior living, renovations, and mixed-use projects, resulting in a wide range of knowledge on all aspects of property management. Under Carrico’s leadership, The Guild, currently located in seven markets across Florida, Texas, Colorado, and Ohio, has plans to expand into and establish a presence across the top 25 markets in the U.S. by the close of 2023 and disrupt the rapidly growing flexible living, short-term rental, and the larger $1.3 trillion long-term rentals markets.

Prior to co-founding The Guild, Brian co-founded Alexa Management, a real estate development and management company that specializes in unique properties with curated local experiences, where he designed and concepted boutique hotels, resorts and mixed-use projects. Previously, Brian also served as an engineering consultant to various organizations and firms, where he guided large mixed-use development projects around the world.

Brian holds an MBA in Business and BS in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, in addition to an MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He credits his wife and his family for his inspiration behind The Guild.

Nick has over 18 years of real estate experience and has spent time in development, acquisitions, and structured finance. As Development Director for one of the nation’s largest multifamily developers, Nick oversaw all aspects of real estate development for more than 4,000 multifamily units in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He also has a deep knowledge and understanding of investment and capital markets after working for some of the nation’s largest financial institutions.

Nick has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and is involved in ULI and The Real Estate Council of Dallas. Nick enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Community sectors. He is now responsible for developing, designing, coordinating, reviewing and

evaluating projects and ongoing work of the engineering and construction division at CIVE.

Under his leadership, the company has expanded into international markets by establishing presence in

Doha, Qatar, while also establishing CIVE Ready Mix in Houston and A2Z Building Material in Dubai, UAE

Will Duncan, AIA is a Managing Principal in the Dallas office of WDG. Much of his 20 year career at WDG has focused on applying the firm’s expertise in urban planning and design to projects nationwide with an emphasis on Mixed-use multifamily developments. Most recently, WDG completed the 390-unit Novel Midtown, Tampa and 298-unit Axio at Carillon in St. Petersburg. Will is licensed in and has active projects in Texas, Florida, Arizona, and Kansas. In addition to his role leading the planning and design processes in the Dallas office, Will is an integral part of the office’s growth through recruitment, management, mentorship and process innovation.

Scott’s journey in real estate began at Jacobs Engineering, where he refined his expertise as a civil engineer within the land development division. Notably, his projects at Jacobs included the development of master-planned communities spanning thousands of acres.

Committed to advancing the industry, Scott actively engages with The Real Estate Council and ULI. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. David Blanton is a proud native of Georgia, having obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

He brings to the JPI team 15 years of construction and preconstruction experience ranging across a multitude of sectors including multifamily, industrial, and office, having previously held positions at VanTrust Real Estate, Howard Hughes Corporation, and Juneau Construction Company.

As Vice President of Preconstruction, David provides leadership, guidance, and expertise to JPI’s central region Preconstruction team through supervision, coordination, and implementation of best practices and established procedures. David’s team provides conceptual cost estimates, quantity estimating, bid solicitation, bid leveling, the scope of work development, value engineering exercises, and development of final budgets to our construction and development teams to ensure JPI continues to build quality for our customers.

When David is not in the office, he enjoys rough housing with his kids, amateur media production, and practical handgun competitions.

Shea Byers

As Director of Real Estate, Shea Byers is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing corporate acquisition and development initiatives and commercial brokerage for the J Street Southwest Regional office in Dallas, TX.

After beginning his career as a Financial Analyst at Electronic Data Systems in 1997, Mr. Byers transitioned quickly toward his passion, real estate. In 2000, Mr. Byers joined Kamco Property Company, a multifamily owner/operator, working his way to CFO.

In 2010, Mr. Byers moved to Washington, DC, becoming Vice President of office leasing with J Street Companies (2010 – 2014). Mr. Byers served in a similar capacity at PMRG Dallas (2014 - 2018), representing over 10 million square feet of Class A office and retail space including projects owned by ARA, Aegon, Lexington, Griffin Capital and TH Real Estate.

As a graduate of their Real Estate MBA Program, Mr. Byers remains actively involved with The George Washington University Center for Commercial Real Estate and Urban Analysis. In collaboration with the chair of GW’s real estate department, he introduced DFW’s first-ever regional infrastructure plan centered around walkable mixed-use development.

Passionate about bold ideas, he brings decades of diverse architectural and planning leadership experience in local and international markets with expertise in directing large teams and complex placemaking projects. Barry’s management approach is guided by his keen attention to client service, design, project budgets, and technical/jurisdictional requirements. Recognized as an industry thought leader, he is frequently featured in speaking engagements and publications.

Barry is also active in various civic organizations, including serving on the Board of Greater Dallas Planning Council and Downtown Dallas Inc, as well as the executive committee of the Board of Directors for the Dallas Wind Symphony — a personal passion. Barry previously served as Chair of the Planning Commission in Richardson, Texas, and is currently an Adjunct Studio Critic for Texas Tech University’s College of Architecture. His interest in the influences of mixed-use redevelopment to revitalize decaying urban perimeters led to writing a semester-long curriculum for the College of Architecture at the university. Barry is a member of the Urban Design and Mixed-Use Product Council of the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, and the American Planning Association.
