Ed holds a master’s degree in Real Estate, Valuation and Law from Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School and a master’s degree from Edinburgh University. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

With a background in Construction Engineering Management and early career experience at Skanska, Alex brings deep expertise across all stages of the development cycle, with a particular focus on planning, design, and leasing. Her portfolio includes high-profile projects such as The Monument Building, 77 Coleman Street, and Stonecutter.

Dan Scanlon is President of Brookfield Properties, United Kingdom responsible for leading the UK team and a 5-million-square-foot portfolio in London.

He joined Brookfield Properties in 2009 and has been instrumental in the site acquisition and successful delivery of more than 3 million sq ft of office, residential, retail and leisure in London. Before joining Brookfield Properties, Dan managed a series of large-scale construction projects in Melbourne and London, including 5 years in a senior position at Multiplex Construction (acquired by Brookfield in 2007).

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree of Science in Civil Engineering (honours) from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Richard has been a director at LOM for more than 20 years, leading both architectural and interior design commissions in the UK and internationally. He recently oversaw the design of Santander UK’s new headquarters, Unity Place in Milton Keynes, a unique groundbreaking workplace that brings together business strategy, occupier experience and social value.

Richard combines rigorous project management with a passion for delivering spaces that really work for their occupants and deliver value for their patrons. His experience with major banks, developers, and a wide range of clients gives him a clear perspective on how occupier needs shape successful developments—insight that is exceeding valuable to achieving full occupation in 2025 and beyond.

Frances joined Cundall 2024 as Partner to lead the workplace sector, focusing on the design of exceptional workplaces that integrates sustainable design. As a member of the British Council for Offices (BCO) Research Committee, Frances actively contributes to industry discussion and research on workplace design in the UK. She is passioned about STEM and engineering and therefore mentors others in the industry as part of the BCO’s mentoring programme and within Cundall. In her role, Frances also supports Cundall's  Zero Carbon Design 2030 commitment to design for a more sustainable built environment.

Callum Hassall

Callum advises on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions involving a

variety of property types including retirement living and care homes, student

accommodation, industrial estates and warehouses, hotels, office premises and

logistics.

He advises on single asset and portfolio acquisitions and disposals, property financings, developments,

landlord and tenant work as well as assisting clients with general matters of property law. He also has

extensive experience in the real estate aspects of corporate investments and banking transactions.

Callum has significant recent experience advising leading developers and providers of senior

care/retirement living and student accommodation. This has involved dealing with complex joint venture

arrangements and cross-border property investment structures.

He also offers clients additional support and property law advice in connection with a variety of

commercial matters including assistance with heads of terms, title indemnity insurance policies, rights of

light releases, dilapidation settlements and most recently, property enquiries in connection with the

COVID-19 pandemic.

He has advised a variety of clients including real estate investment trusts, domestic and overseas

investors, landlords, tenants and developers.

Callum is co-chair of McGuireWoods London’s pro bono programme.

Raj Rajput joined Hines in 2013 and is the Managing Director of the Asset Management teams of Hines UK and Ireland, with responsibility for the entire portfolio under management. Raj has been involved in several active asset management projects, including Broadgate Quarter and 25 Cabot Square, and is currently the asset manager for Hanover Square and Film House.

Raj is also Chair of European Asset Management Leadership Group. Before joining Hines, Raj worked at property outsourcing firm Mapeley for 9 years. There he was Head of Acquisitions and Disposals and involved in a several large refurbishment and leasing projects. He also led on strategic disposals and acquisitions across Mapeley’s two main outsourcing contracts (HMRC and Santander) and direct investment portfolio.

Laura leads a team of asset managers, based in the London office, with c £2bn of office assets to

manage across the UK, on behalf of international clients. She was appointed Client Experience Lead for

EMEA offices in 2022. Defining the role as the first incumbent, Laura is building and developing a team

to deliver excellent service to both clients and occupiers.

With 18 years’ experience, of which 16 years have been with CBRE IM, Laura has held a number of

investment management and leadership roles within the business.

Laura is passionate about cities, having lived in New York and now London, and developing places within

them for people to thrive. She has led repositioning projects such as Angel Central (a retail destination in

Islington), 10 Brindley Place (the largest office refurbishment in Birmingham to complete in 2022) and

Atlantic House (a City of London office refurbishment). Wellbeing, creativity, technology, adaptability and

long term sustainability are at the heart of her projects.

As a mother of two young children, Laura has always been a strong advocate of diversity, equity and

inclusion and has led a wellbeing and mental health working group at CBRE IM, which is all part of a

wider initiative to provide a more inclusive environment for the team to work, learn and grow.

Henry brings almost two decades of experience and leadership across commercial real estate investment, development, leasing and asset management, including roles as Head of UK and Vice President for Offices, Retail and Life Sciences at Oxford Properties Group. During his almost 10-year tenure, he played a pivotal role in growing the company’s office and retail platform in the UK.

WIG is an independent wireless infrastructure operator that has pioneered the neutral host model in the UK. The company builds and operates communication towers (masts) in rural and suburban areas together with 5G capable small cells, and indoor networks to improve mobile coverage inside office buildings, hotels, shopping centres, stadiums and on city streets.
