Miles heads HUB’s acquisitions team and is responsible for all new origination and execution across HUB’s development strategies. Miles has over 10 years investment experience and has helped grow HUB’s BTR and Co-living portfolio by over £1 billion in GDV within the last 3 years. Prior to HUB, Miles worked in the investment team at BlackRock.

Paul has been involved in the UK property industry for 27 years and built up a portfolio of student accommodation whilst he was still a student in the early 2000’s. Paul has successfully developed many residential projects from the ground upwards, giving him excellent knowledge in construction and real estate development. In 2014, Paul took on the task of establishing a renewable energy company, where he procured 20 development sites dedicated exclusively to the generation of solar energy. This portfolio flourished and reached an impressive value of £100m.

Paul then redirected his focus to his entrepreneurial roots, founding Kosy Living. The company specialises in the living sector, Kosy Student, Kosy Co Living and Kosy Life it’s Later Co Living™ Brand. Currently Kosy Co Living is constructing Brighton’s first co-living village, has successfully achieved Bath’s first co-living consent and soon to be Watford’s first co-living consent.

This year Kosy will have over 1,500 co-living units consented in the UK, with a further 2,000 co-living units within its pipeline.

Judy is a Partner in Shoosmiths’ Real Estate division and co-head of the firm’s Living Sector.

She advises investors, developers, landlords, banks and funding institutions on investment, development, and asset management, with a strong focus on the Living Sector. Working closely with the Banking and Finance team, she handles real estate finance transactions for both lenders and borrowers.

Passionate about the Living Sector, her expertise spans BTR, SFH, PBSA, student accommodation, later living, care, co-living, social housing, healthcare, sustainable finance, ESG and more.

Sophie qualified as an architect at leading BTR firm Assael and now manages a number of core developments within the Packaged Living portfolio. She has led the planning and development of a number of projects including The Almere, a 294 apartment BTR scheme in Milton Keynes which has just completed on site, and the redevelopment of the former Debenhams store at Highcross Shopping Centre, Leicester which secured planning approval for 300 new btr homes.

Nenad – known as Manas – studied architecture at the University of Zagreb, then attended London’s University of Westminster before starting work as an architect. Since joining tp bennett, he has been engaged in many projects: most notably the creation of innovative student residential schemes for Nido and Pure.

This work has informed Manas’ abiding interest in new residential paradigms for young urban living, reflected in projects such as Dresdenerstrasse, an eight-storey student-residential development in Vienna; Vega in Vauxhall, London – which includes a 37-storey student residential tower – and Garden Halls, a regenerated block in Bloomsbury providing a 1,200-student residential campus for the University of London.

Manas is interested in architectural theory, and while at University won the coveted Banister Fletcher Prize for his thesis Ideology, Myth, Architecture on Italian Rationalism and Russian Constructivism, examining the relationship between 20th century architecture and political ideology.

Lauren Maylor is an award-winning Interior Designer with 18+ years’ experience across residential, commercial & hospitality sectors. She co-founded Project Studio in 2022, to form the Interior Design arm of Project Furniture Residential, working directly with developers and funds on multiple Co-living/BTR/PRS and PBSA schemes across the UK.

Rebecca Davison is a solicitor focussing on all aspects of non-contentious commercial property transactions.

Rebecca advises on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties, on the real estate aspects of portfolio management, insolvency and all other landlord and tenant matters.

She also acts for retail and corporate occupier clients on the acquisition, re-gearing and disposal of their occupational property interests.

Rebecca advises foreign investors in UK commercial real estate and with commercial occupiers on HQ relocation.

She is a member of the firm's Investment Funds and Real Estate sector groups.

She is a UK Board member and founding member of the US-led Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) network.

Emma leads insights for JLL's EMEA living research team, providing thought leadership on build-to-rent, student accommodation, coliving and later living. She is a former business analyst and journalist. She was residential editor at Estates Gazette, where she reported on investment and development and established the BTR data offering and a series of print supplements.
