Giles Kibbe is General Counsel of Houston Astros LLC, and has been General Counsel for all of Jim Crane's companies since February of 2010. His responsibilities for the Crane companies range from mergers and acquisitions, litigation, employment matters, contracts, lease agreements, real estate acquisitions, and real estate developments.

Prior to becoming General Counsel for the Crane companies, Giles was a partner at Weller, Green & Toups in Beaumont, Texas, where he focused on a litigation and corporate practice. Giles joined Weller, Green & Toups in 1995 after serving a two-year clerkship for United States District Judge Joe J. Fisher in the Eastern District of Texas.

Giles is a graduate of Louisiana State University Law School (1993) and Lamar University (1990).

David Wolff

Wolff Companies

David Wolff is Chairman and President of Wolff Companies, a Houston-based holding company which manages his activities and investments in real estate development, financial assets, professional sports and agriculture.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Wolff graduated with honors from Amherst College in 1962 and with an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1964. He has served as a Trustee of Amherst College and is presently a Trustee Emeritus. He has been an adviser to the faculty of Harvard Business School in the development of the study of entrepreneurship and was Chairman of his class’ 50th reunion campaign, which raised more money than any other reunion campaign in the school’s history.

He performed his military service with the U.S. Coast Guard and, subsequently, as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy.

David Wolff founded Wolff, Morgan and Company in 1970, which evolved into Wolff Companies in 1985 and has guided the company to its position as Houston’s largest developer of office, business and industrial parks as well as sites for healthcare, hotels, retail and multi-family.

He is a partner in the San Francisco Giants and Oracle Park, San Francisco. His current agricultural interests include a 1,680-acre working cattle ranch in Independence, Texas, which he has operated for 36 years. For 16 years, he owned and oversaw operations for private vineyards in the Napa Valley of California.

During his five decades in Houston, David Wolff has worked on many community endeavors including: the West Houston Association which he co-founded and then chaired for six years; the Houston Parks Board on which he served for 12 years, including two terms as Chairman; the Houston Grand Opera where he was Vice President and Chairman of the Finance Committee; and the Greater Houston Partnership. Mr. Wolff was Chairman of METRO (the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County) from 2004 to 2010.

David and his wife, Mary, have been married for more than 40 years and have two daughters, two sons-in-law, three granddaughters and two grandsons.

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Kevin has overall responsibility for Transwestern’s Southwest operations, which includes the Houston region. In this role, he works with our real estate professionals to create multi-disciplined, strategic solutions to complex real estate problems for Transwestern clients. Kevin also serves on Transwestern’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

During his 35-year career with Transwestern, Kevin has been instrumental in the repositioning and growth of the firm’s third-party service business in the Southwest. Under his direction, the Southwest operation has grown to more than 85 million square feet of managed and leased commercial properties.

Kevin began his Transwestern career as an office leasing agent in Houston, Texas, which allows him to bring a unique perspective to his leadership role. He was instrumental in the success of the Houston high-rise office leasing efforts, completing numerous anchor transactions and onboarding significant management and leasing engagements.

Prior to joining Transwestern, Kevin worked for Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.

As co-founder and Managing Partner of NewQuest Properties, Sears focuses on growing the NewQuest platform through new development, acquisitions and strategic opportunities, overseeing NewQuest Investment Company, and on managing key client relationships with retailers and clients. In 1996, he founded Sears Realty Company, a commercial brokerage and development firm that developed, managed and leased numerous grocery-anchored shopping centers throughout the greater Houston area. He formed Sears Realty in response to the site selection and development needs of his grocery and retail clients, brokering or developing numerous transactions involving Albertsons, HEB Grocery Company, Kroger, Walgreen’s, PETCO Animal Supplies, Rice Epicurean Markets, 24 Hour Fitness, among many others. The company flourished and, in 2001, Sears merged with Quest Properties, with the merged company being renamed NewQuest Properties. Sears received a B.B.A. from Baylor University in 1982. He is Chairman of Grant Me The Wisdom Foundation, Partner of Impact Partners, a social impact documentary film partnership, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a member of the Urban Land Institute, and a member of the Rice Design Alliance.

Glenn is the COO of Lone Star PACE in charge of day-to-day operations. Lone Star PACE serves

as Program Administrator for city and county Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) programs in Texas. C-PACE provides financing for commercial, industrial and multifamily projects that support economic development and resource conservation in Texas communities. C-PACE is designed to overcome the barrier of significant upfront costs for energy efficiency and water conservation projects by offering attractive financing to commercial property owners.

Glenn has more than 35 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry. He holds the Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) designation and is the current chair of the DFW chapter. Glenn is also an MAI Member of the Appraisal Institute and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Texas.

In addition to his role at Lone Star PACE, Glenn is president and founder of KLM Realty Advisors, where his team has underwritten more than $18.8B in loans for B-Piece investors of Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities.

Glenn is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where he received a master’s degree in Land Economics and Real Estate and a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics. He and his wife Lori (also an Aggie), reside in Plano and have two daughters.
