Eric Hudson is a founding Partner and Principal of Design Services at Method Architecture. He oversees the firm’s Design Services department responsible for Sustainability, Design, Quality Control, and Technology. A Houston native, Eric received his bachelor’s in environmental design from Texas A&M University and master’s in architecture from the University of Houston. Eric and his teams have worked on adaptive reuse projects such as M-K-T, East Village, and East End Maker Hub. Eric is President of the University of Houston College of Architecture and Design Alumni Board and sits on the board for Spring Spirit, a local children’s non-profit.

Mr. Steve Williams is a seasoned engineering and construction professional with over 28 years of experience across residential, commercial, and telecommunications projects. He frequently speaks at Multifamily conferences and events on innovation and trends in multifamily design and construction.

A Board Member of DID Affordable Housing Foundation and Reward Third Ward, Mr. Williams is actively involved in community service and youth mentorship.

As Vice President of CIVE, Inc., he oversees design, BIM, and construction, leading initiatives to implement BIM across all projects for accurate, on-time, and on-budget delivery. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

As a passionate design director with a unique vision, his skills include developing building designs, from concepts

development through construction, overall leadership, strategic visioning, critical problem solving and conflict

resolution, synthesis of complex programs, strategic planning, Master Planning as well as Urban Design. His

Grant holds a B.S. in FTDM Sports Broadcasting, Master of Sports Administration, and MBA from Ohio University. Daimian S. Hines AIA, NOMA, is a visionary design architect and an emerging critical voice in the design

community. who undertakes projects and pursuits that enhance communities and cultures. Upon his

return from international practice in Southeast Asia, Daimian founded Hines Architecture + Design

(HINESAD). Since its inception, he endeavored to challenge the form and focus of a traditional minority

firm by envisioning and building a mission-driven global practice. HINESAD found early success by

winning an international commission to design the government of Jamaica new houses of parliament.

As the founding Principal, Daimian provides exceptional leadership and expertise. He is known for his

innovation, meticulous approach to creative designs and technical resolutions along with dedication to

delivering client-focused outcomes. He has over two decades of experience delivering complex projects.

Daimian’s expertise spans conceptualization, project planning services, master planning, feasibility

assessments, design, management, and project delivery.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Daimian actively contributes to his community. He serves on the City

of Houston Planning Commission and holds leadership roles, including President of the Board at Row

House Community Development Corporation (RHCDC) and Treasurer for the Houston Freedmen’s Town

Conservancy. Daimian is also a board member of the Astrodome Conservancy and has served on the

Board of Governors of the Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning, Rice Design Alliance, and

the Houston Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects.

Daimian holds both a Master of Architecture (Honors) and Bachelor of Science (Distinction), Architecture

degrees from the Taubman College of Architecture, University of Michigan.

He is licensed to practice architecture in Texas, Illinois, and Michigan with pending licensure in Jamaica.

Additionally, Daimian is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Organization

of Minority Architects, Texas Society of Architects and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Jeff Mechlem is a licensed architect and principal at Page, a full-service design, architecture

and engineering firm with locations across the country and abroad. He is Managing Director of

the Houston office and the firm’s Aviation Market Sector Leader. Jeff has led major projects in

the aviation, corporate, commercial, academic, housing and hospitality markets. Driven by

Page’s core values and the mission to create work that makes lives better, he maintains a focus

on developing collaborative and inclusive environments to produce innovative designs, excellent

service, rewarding career paths, and positive impacts on the Houston community.

A graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a professional Bachelor of Architecture

degree, Jeff began his career in Los Angeles prior to moving to Houston and joining Page in

2008. Jeff is a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum (ALF), alumnus of Leadership

Houston (Class XXXIV) and member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Airports

Council International (ACI), American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), CoreNet

Global, the Greater Houston Partnership, and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Active in

community engagement, he currently serves on the board of directors for Target Hunger and

Oaks Dads’ Club and coaches youth baseball and football.

Jane is an experienced interior designer with over 12 years of experience. She has worked with several

Fortune 500 companies, including Chevron, Occidental Petroleum, and Exxon Mobil, across multiple

market sectors. Aside from her career as a designer, she has experience in art consulting, new business

development, and sales in the architectural and design community, fostering her holistic approach to

the design process. Jane is a Houston native with a BFA in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture

from The University of Houston. Currently, she is an Interiors Manager at UTMB, where she loves to

challenge the status quo in healthcare design and work on developing solutions that focus on user

experience and brand recognition.

As an avid listener, Teal enjoys the refinement that comes with

vetting concepts in a collaborative team forum. Just as there is

balance inherent in light and shadow, so too comes the balance of

Teal’s combined background in the arts and engineering puts

her at ease with both the ephemeral and technical challenges

inherent in lighting design. Her holistic design perspective

has been honed and applied over three decades of industry

leadership and iconic project work, making her an invaluable

team member that elevates the aspirations of every project she is

involved in.

Brian is a renowned professional with over fifteen years of experience in building design and consulting. He specializes in structural modeling and design and has collaborated with several architects on commercial and residential projects. Additionally, he has served as a Project Engineer/Manager and Principal on various structures. Brian holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Adam Cryer is Co-founder and President of Pinnacle Structural Engineers. He is a graduate of Rice University, who subsequently obtained his Masters in Structural Engineering at the University of Texas in Austin. In 2014, Adam was named as a Top 40 under 40 professional by Building Design & Construction magazine, as well as one of Structural Engineering magazine’s Top 15 Rising Stars in the U.S. He has written articles for both Modern Steel Construction and Structural Engineer magazine, including “Built to Tilt”, an article on tilt-up design, published in 2013. Adam has participated on professional panels for both ACI and the Tilt-up Construction Association, and has served as a judge for the TCA’s Awards and AGC APEX Awards for the past 6 years. Adam is also Vice Chairman of the Board for ACE Mentor Program Houston, a non-profit organization that mentors high school students for future careers in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction fields.
