Prologis is planning to spend $12M putting up a new warehouse in Flower Mound.

The 525K SF facility will be located on Silveron Boulevard, according to an application filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Construction is expected to begin in December and take 12 months, per the filing.

The project, approved by Flower Mound Town Council earlier this year, was originally under development by Duke Realty Corp., according to the Dallas Morning News. Prologis acquired Duke for $25.6B earlier this month.

DFW's industrial market continues to excel. The Metroplex has led the nation for four consecutive quarters in construction activity, and the year-to-date leasing total of 38M SF outpaces 2021, which was a record year for DFW, according to a Q3 report from JLL.

Prologis is the largest owner of industrial property in the world. It has more than 200 warehouses in DFW encompassing almost 40M SF, according to its website.
