Google is preparing to open a 1M SF distribution center in the Alliance submarket, sources close to the development told Bisnow.

The company has filed a permit with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to begin the $20.3M interior build-out of Building 1 in Northlake 35 Logistics Park under the code name Project Beast.

Google’s lease commenced last month, sources told Bisnow.

It isn't yet clear what the building will be used for. Google didn't immediately respond to Bisnow’s request for comment.

Clarion Partners broke ground on the 2.6M SF park at 3400 Catherine Court in 2021, according to The Dallas Morning News. The $175M, six-building industrial project is a partnership with Texas Commercial Development LLC and the landowner, NL35 LP. The property is leased by KBC Advisors
