Crow Holdings is preparing to break ground on a $41M warehouse project in southeast Dallas.

Crow Holdings has $30B of assets under management and $14B worth of construction in its pipeline, CEO Michael Levy said during a Jan. 10 Weitzman event. The vast majority of its focus is on industrial and multifamily, though the company also dabbles in office and retail.

Companies like Crow are looking to capitalize on Texas’ population growth by bringing last-mile logistics hubs closer to where people live. The industrial team at Crow has developed more than 66M SF of industrial space, according to its website, with projects totaling close to $7B.

“The simple rule in real estate is that you invest where people are moving to,” Levy said at the event. “We’ve got a lot of land in every direction, so I would continue to bet on these markets.”
