Toyota Construction Hits The Halfway Point In Plano

Placeholder

Toyota has hit the halfway point in its race to the finish. Construction in Plano on the new North American HQ has hit 50% and is scheduled to open on time (known to some in the industry as a miracle) in early 2017. The price of development is a different story. Previously it was reported costs would be $350M, but it's expected to be closer to $1B, according to the Dallas Morning News. With offices in New York, California and Kentucky, more than 4,000 employees have been asked to move to the Lone Star State. Toyota aims to have about 800 employees here by the end of the year.
