Facebook Considers Expanding Footprint In Ft. Worth

Placeholder

Facebook is already eyeing an expansion on the extra land it bought near its Ft. Worth data center. The company owns 110 acres at Texas 170 and Park Vista Boulevard. In December, Facebook acquired 39 more adjacent acres at Texas 170 and Independence Parkway in the Alliance development, according to the Star Telegram.

The new purchase came less than six months after Facebook started construction on a billion-dollar data center complex. The company plans to build three 250k SF buildings and is now working on the first building, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year. [ST]
