Don Wilson Plans 180-Room Viceroy Hotel

But don’t worry, they’re keeping the Cedar Hotel’s iconic Gold Coast façade. Hot on the heels of China-based Wanda Group’s announcement of a 250-room five-star Wanda hotel downtown (designed by Jeanne Gang), Don Wilson’s Convexity Properties has submitted plans to the Chicago City Council for a Viceroy Hotel at 1118 N State St, Crain’s Chicago Business reports.
