GlenStar Properties is about to launch a major renovation of 311 W Monroe St. GlenStar bought the property last December just as longtime anchor tenant BMO Harris Bank was leaving. The building is currently 18% leased and is home to several tenants on short-term deals. GlenStar managing director Christian Domin told GlobeSt the company will expand the building's lobby, do a full gut rehab and install energy-efficient glass to give tenants floor-to-ceiling windows. With demand for office space in the CBD rising, these renovations for the 380k SF building come none too soon. [GS]
